CONDITION DESCRIPTION: Light cover soiling and shelf rubbing on edges. Interior pages have light brown spotting, else clean and tight. CONTENTS DESCRIPTION: In 1927 Clyde L. Eddy organized and led his own expedition down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, becoming one of the first to successfully navigate the river through the Grand Canyon. The expedition included Cataract, a bear cub and Rags, an airedale dog in addition to the 13 men. The reason for the expedition was pure adventure. Hardcover. Condición: Good. Shelf wear to the binding and rubbing to the cover and spine. Corners bumped and rubbed through. The spine has small chips along the top and bottom edges. There is a split to the cloth at the top of the junction of the front joint and the spine, measuring about 2-3 inches, and a smaller split at the bottom of the front joint.
