1st edition. Small 8vo, circa 6.5 x 4 inches (16.5 x 10.5 cm), pp. 1 + 2 + 696 + 33 + 3, all edges coloured, hand-sewn headbands, hardback in full vellum binding, text entirely in German. Book condition - Good, contents preliminary pages front and back are a bit dusty but the text block is clean, no foxing though pages are a little tanned, small inscription ("Franz Werner") at foot of title page, no other inscriptions, binding firm with inner hinges intact. Full vellum binding, no title on spine or front board, corners intact, vellum shows patches of tanning over whole surface (see photos), in addition to these the back shows a stain, about 2 cm round, at the lower right , the spine is complete with no loss at either end, the front shows some tanning and marking and at the lower right a rectangle (3 x 1 cm) has (for reasons unknown) been cut out and replaced with another piece of vellum, the boards, as so often with a vellum binding, gape a little.
