This is a large old auction sale poster measuring 24 inches by 20 inches approx., The land being just north of Whitchurch in Shropshire, possibly just over the border in Cheshire, it describes the land as being dry and elevated with beautiful views of The Cheshire Hills, with good connections for the railway, and close to the meets of Sir Watkin Wynn?s Cheshire Hounds, making the land good for hunting purposes. The poster being printed in Whitchurch by R. B. Jones?s Steam Printing Works. The poster is printed on thin paper which has large noticeable splits along fold lines with minor loss, one small loose piece, The poster is in a fragile state and needs handling with great care Would make a nice feature framed.
