7 1/4 in. x 10 1/2 in., a typed letter on a sheet of stationary with the printed heading: John Kenneth Galbraith Harvard University Cambridge, Massachusetts. Sent to John Dodds at G. P. Putnam's Sons, regarding David Niven's "The Moon's a Balloon". The sheet shows two horizontal folds from being folded for mailing, some ruffling to the edges/corners. "December 13, 1971. Do use the following on David Niven's book, and do send him a copy. I must tell you about this book. 'Most people will read it believing that the author must have good tales to tell--as would John Gielgud or the late Errol Flynn. They will discover, instead, that he is a truly brilliant writer--gifted in description, wonderful with dialogue, and more accomplished in high and low comedy than anyone I can think of since the early Waugh.' Yours faithfully, [signed with initials]: JK (John Kenneth Galbraith) P.S. Note urgently, in galley 109; George Murphy is no longer senator from California and (same proof) I extremely doubt that there was a Havard-Princeton game at Princeton at Christmas time. Some other orgy, or was it Thanksgiving? Also, it is not three hours from New York to Princeton! J.K.G JKG:mjh". N° de ref. del artículo ABE-3398160774
