Green cloth with elaborate titling in black on gold on the spine, and with designs on the front cover, dark brown, coated endpapers, all edges gilt. The spine ends, cover corners show light wear. The author's signed inscriptions are on the first front flyleaf: Mrs. Margaretta I. Leaming. Many Happy New Years. From Benj F. Taylor, Jan. 1st 1880.
