Guelph (Ontario), World Publishing Co, 1892, revised edition, hardcover, original marron cloth decorated in gilt and black on both front board and spine, blind stamped decorated on back board, about 10 X 7 ½ inches, 1308 pages, illustrated with many B&W plates and some in color. In the previous edition of 1886 there was two fold-out color plates (head and chest/abdomen) but in our edition there is only the fold-out plate of the head (missing or just published like this ???). Our copy is in very good condition showing only a few minor wear to boards. Interior is in fine condition without noticeable wear but a few library marks and stamps on first pages and to back endpaper + one small stamp to bottom foredge. FFEP shows a two lines inscription from a previous owners dated from 1893. Otherwise alle plates look very fresh. Overall a nice copy.
