Descripción
First published in 1906, Xenophon (what are we to think of parents who would inflict a name like that on a child?) Huddy's exhaustive treatise on the laws pertaining to automobiles has been revised and updated by Arthur F. Curtis. This is the Fifth Edition. This is one serious legal tome. The "Table of Contents" runs to 27 pages, followed by a "Table of Cases" running to 50 pages. And this is before you start on the 1,119 pages of the book itself, and the 75-page Index. As one reviewer in a legal journal put it: "The book supplies not only the need for a modern treatise on its subject matter, but brings within one volume every possible angle on that subject. It is to be strongly recommended not only to the student, but to the busy trial practitioner." (It is also strongly recommended as a doorstop!) This copy is in excellent condition internally, with the binding firm, square and secure. There is some wear to the cloth boards, and the tissue-thin paper spine labels have suffered, with the title label all but gone. But all in all, a very good copy with some browning to edges and just a little spotting to endpapers. The book is 3.5" thick and, when packed, weighs in at 5.5 pounds, so expect a little extra on the default shipping fee. JS. N° de ref. del artículo 002476
