] Heavy hardback, quarto, 9 1/4 x 12 1/4 inches, silver foil stamped graphic and titling on parchment-look dark blue-gray covers, 328 pages, VG+ to Near Fine. Tight square binding, hinges intact, normal shelf bumping spine ends, small bump top corner back cover. Very clean inside and out, no names, no writing. Printed on coated stock throughout. Large number of photos, both color (incl full 2-page spreads) and b&w (incl vintage). From the Chronology: First Commissioning 1943, World War Two service, Decommissioned 1948, Recommissioned 1950, Korea, Decommissioned 1957, Recommissioned 1968, Vietnam, Decommissioned 1969, Recommissioned 1982. This book documents some of the New Jersey's earlier history, but mostly the tour of 1983-1984 incl the shakedown cruise June-Sept of 1983.
