Aging is considered an increasing apprehension for healthful postmodern life. Scientific data suggest some gain in the number of healthy years but also a greater increase in compromised physical, mental, and social functions. Insightful knowledge on mental disorders of aging is greatly inadequate, thus needing novel innovative hypotheses and future experiments. This book is a real-life presentation of science of aging, especially for the public. It includes 7 chapters and briefly addresses how aging phenomenon is related to cell biology, cell biochemistry, systemic endocrinology, and immunity. One specific chapter provides insights into how life-time nutrition affects and is concerned with aging. After all, aging will not keep mankind from persistent renovation.

Dr. Akbar Nikkhah, PH.D., is Highly Distinguished Professor of Science and Ruminant Nutrition (University of Zanjan, Iran), Highly Distinguished Mentor of Science Education, Highly Distinguished Science Composer, Highly Distinguished Elite-Generating Scientist of the National Elite Foundation in Iran, and Highly Distinguished Global Peace Promoter.
