This movement stirred an interest of the academia and, as a result, research on the outcomes of international donors' engagement in recipient countries started.The main aim of this thesis is to analyze a broad spectrum of literature on aid effectiveness in developing countries and to summarize the main findings concerning an impact of state fragility and conflict on the efficiency of donor engagement.
