Editorial: John Valentine, Glendale, CA
Año de publicación: 1950
Edición: 1st Edition
16mo. Stiff tan wood-grain wrappers. (12pp). Very good. Wrappers a tad age toned, else internally fine. Probable sole printing of this keepsake published by Ralph G. Newman's business partner at Chicago's noted Abraham Lincoln Book Shop, who later sold books and even published a Stephen Crane bibliography after relocating to Glendale, California; he co-founded The Franklin D. Roosevelt Collectors' Association in 1948 and edited its semi-annual journal, "The Franklin D. Roosevelt Collector." Front wrapper notes "Originally printed, 1940, by Harbison & Harbison, Oceana, Calif." and also remarks: "This edition, from original sheets, for John Valentine, as a greeting to fellow FDR collectors, Glendale, Calif., Christmas, 1950." Likely produced in an extremely small quantity, this handsome little edition is rarely seen. N° de ref. de la librería 40875
