We have presented a ray opticsbased method to estimate the path propagation factorof an irregular terrain. Explicit expressions areobtained for the Divergence and Convergence factorsfor the convex and concave spherically shaped slantplateaus joining the hills and depression. Thealgorithm developed is very fast and provides goodestimates of the propagation factor. Numericalpredictions are compared with other full wave and GOmethods and also measurements. 140 pp. Englisch.
