His professional back-ground spans technical editorships and editorships of photography magazines, a spell as picture editor on a national newspaper as well as technical journalism for a wide range of photographic and computing magazines. For 12 years he held the post of senior lecturer in photography at the University of Westminster. He specialises in the photography of Central Asia and his work has been exhibited internationally.
