People say to me, I want to lead a more auspicious life and yet I still struggle with the negative aspects of myself that I hate. Firstly there is always a polarity. It exists within us all. Positive and negative. Part of existing in a human body is to know this polarity; we certainly can see examples of it in action every single day...in both extremes. Secondly hating some aspect of ourselves is destructive to the highest degree. If there is some aspect of our personality or our reactions in certain situations that is troubling, we should be very happy because this is the road to complete self awareness. Accept your faults and come to appreciate them, send your own loving energy into your own perceived faults and then you can begin to change the energy surrounding them. Transformational change can then begin. Questioning is the beginning of wisdom. We need to forgive ourselves through love for any hurts our actions we may have caused and trace back where that pattern of behaviour originated from, in order for it to also be healed through love. Only then can we move a little further towards complete freedom. Self love is incredibly important. Without self love how are we to love others and ultimately project love out into the world. And the world so needs all the love it can get in order to also heal.
