Dr. Johnny Wilson holds degrees from Troy State University, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and Antioch Baptist Seminary. He is an ordained minister serving on staff in Savannah, Tennessee as Children's Pastor and Missions Director at Hopewell Baptist Church. He is married to Debbie, a social worker, and has two sons, Colby and Blake. Colby is married to Jennifer and they have two children, Hayden and Alley. Blake is married to Brooke and they have two children, Jonah and Matthew. He has worked with children for over 30 years beginning as a youth baseball coach directly from college. He continued working with children in youth football and baseball until his children were in high school. In addition to teaching sports he also began working with children and youth in his home churches in Wicksburg and Clayhatchee, Alabama. He accepted a call to full time ministry with children in 1997. Since that time he has worked with children in various mission projects, retreats, and revivals throughout the United States, Canada, and Germany. Dr. Wilson feels a great responsibility to give the best instruction possible to what he considers the future of our world and our faith.
