Karen Miller is a food, travel, and lifestyle writer living on Amelia Island, FL. Her former catering business, Old South Yankee, hosted numerous highly acclaimed events such as the Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival, the Amelia Island Jazz Festival, and the Amelia Island Film Festival. At present, when she's not writing essays and recipes, she bakes pies for the Fernandina Beach Market Place.
