The author was born and raised on a small farm in Kansas. He attended college in Florida and furthered his studies at the Dallas College of Mortuary Sciences. Until his retirement he was a licensed embalmer and funeral director in Texas. A number of his poems have been published. He is an avid reader and traveler.
