420 pp. Original full leather boards, binding is tight and secure. Boards have significant rubbing, scuffing and age darkening to surface, edges, corners and spine. The pages show considerable oxidation, but are unmarked; the first few pages show some water damage. Pencil and ink notations from previous owner(s) on the front and rear endpages; signature of previous owner on title page. SCARCE. The last three blank pages (endpapers) have notes and what appears to be a handwritten index of ministers and what page they appear on in the text. A copy of an early and scarce Kentucky imprint.
