Originally issued to accompany the 1971 Balthus exhibition at the Galerie Claude Bernard, Paris. Internally tight, bright and clean with no markings, inscriptions or loose pages. Dustwrapper complete, predominantly bright and clean, with some minor toning and evidence of handling. Pages unnumbered, but 60pp. Profusely illustrated with drawings, largely of girls, and with some varied views/still lives. Chiefly b/w, a few on coloured (ochre) paper. In addition, five beautifully printed reproductions of water-colours, tipped-in. A stylish catalogue in uncommonly tidy condition. FREE P&P IN UK.
