Dark red cloth hardcover in decent shape. Missing dust jacket. Pages clean and bright, no underlining or highlighting. Boards loose at hinges from general wear, but the binding remains sturdy, and the pages don't seem to be in any danger of falling out. Former owner's name on interior of front cover. Some staining, discolouration to edges of the pages, but only at a surface level, and they remain completely clean and legible. 289 pp, with gorgeous B&W illustrations by Marguerite Davis. Volume commemorating the heroism of Britain's heroes of the Great War, published only a few years after its end. A fine addition to any collection of militaria.
