Condition Report Externally Spine good condition gilt titles, raised bands, blind stamped decoration to the compartments, worn top and tail. Joints good condition gently rubbed and worn. Corners good condition bumped and worn with minor loss. Boards good condition half leather boards bound by Blackie & Son. Page edges good condition top edges slightly darkened, marbled. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition intact. Paste downs good condition plain, lightly tanned and foxed, small book binder s label in the bottom left hand corner of the rear paste downs. End papers good condition plain, lightly tanned and foxed with some offsetting, subsequent end papers lightly tanned with minor foxing. Title good condition lightly tanned with some minor foxing. Pages good condition tissue guarded portrait frontispiece in each volume, 32 full-page portrait plates, text is in two columns, lightly tanned throughout. Binding good condition See photos.
