Boston: Two Tales Publishing Company, 1892-3. A run of 37 issues of this scarce periodical. Each issue, published every Saturday, featured two short stories by both up and coming and established authors, including E W Hornung, Gilbert Parker, Octave Thanet, Edith R Crosby, Elizabeth Stuart Phelps, Julian Hawthorne and others. The July 23, 1892 issue contains "Love on the Bon-Dieu', one of the earliest examples of Kate Chopin's short story writing, set in the Bayou of Louisiana, which would eventually form the basis of her book Bayou Folk. Spine of the Nov 19, 1892 issues almost perished; moderate dampstaining to the March 25th, April 1, and March 11 1893 issues, some light toning to wraps in places, with several issues creased vertically, else a VG run overall of a very scarce periodical. OCLC locates just a handful of issues. N° de ref. del artículo ABE-1681946761387
