Four volumes; size of the bindings: 4 3/8 x 7 5/8 in. Vol. I: [4], [1]-333 pp. with imprint at the bottom of page 333 + 4-page publisher's catalogue dated Feb. 1819; Vol. II: [4], [1]-322 pp., with the imprint at the bottom of p. 322; Vol. III: [4], [1]-328 pp., with the imprint at the bottom of p. 328; Vol. IV: [4]. [1]-375, with the imprint at the bottom of P. 375. All four volumes have their half-titles and second half-titles. The first half-title in Vol. I shows an ad for "Criminal Trials" (relating to The Heart of Mid-Lothian) on the reverse. The title page to Vol. I shows the quotations from Don Quixote in Spanish, followed by the English translation by Jarvis. Vol. I, Page [1] does not show the signature mark "A." Vol. II, p. 52 shows the word "wichtcraft." Vol. IV, p. 348 is mis-numbered "438." Bound in full, dark brown morocco leather by Zaehnsdorf, with their gilt stamp on the lower front inner turn-in, five raised bands on the spine, with gilt titling, double-line borders, and richly gilt inner dentelles, brown watered silk endpapers, top-edge gilt. The fore and lower edges of the book have not been trimmed in binding. Fading to the spines and cover margins. With the bookplates of Cleveland, Ohio-based book collector, William G.
