Stapled booklet in wrappers printed in white and black and with a vignette in black and white on the front cover of a flying saucer beaming down to a stick figure of a man with another stick figure of Gabriel blowing his horn. Just touches of wear to extremities, wrappers clean and bright, wrappers ever slightly wrinkled, no rust on the staples, photo of Green in fine condition, else near fine to fine with no internal markings. This booklet contains several narratives and lists as follows: "AFSCA, NEW NATIONAL ORGANIZATION, APPEALS FOR UNITY AND COOPERATION AMONG FLOYING SAUCER CLUBS," "GABRIEL BLOWS HIS HORN, SOUNDS THE CALL TO ARMS" (which is an appeal for unity among the clubs), "AFSCA FIRST NATIONAL CONVENTION JULY 11TH AND 12TH, 1959 NOTEL STATLER-HILTON, LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA" (contains complete information on the convention and how to attend), "ATTENTION, SPACE STUDY CLUBS AND FLYING SAUCER BULLETINS" (an offer to mail a free copy of THY KINGDOM COME to any of these groups), "U.S. FLYING SAUCER CLUBS, RESERACH GROUPS AND PUBLICATIONS" (complete with names of same, addresses, phone numbers, contact persons, and the like), "FOREIGN FLYING SAUJCER CLUBS, RESEARCH GROUPS AND PUBLICATIONS (complete with similar information), "FLYING SAUCER MAGAZINE AND NEWS BULLETINS (complete with similar information). Rear wrapper announces presentations by several people: Dana Howard speaking on "Up Rainbow Hill", Wilbur Miller in "A Demonstration of Long Distance Communication", and Evelyn Miller with her watercolor exhibit of "Portraits of the Space People." Published by AFSCA in cooperation with The Los Angeles Interplanetary Study Group. This booklet is just a mine of information about the flying saucer/UFO movement in 1959 and is an absolute "must have" for anyone interested in this subject. The lists of organizations, publications and people constitute a documentary of the movement at the time. The slogan of AFSCA was "Be active today or radio-active tomorrow!".
