Book condition: good, very scarce first edition, b/w illustrations throughout, some full page including frontis, illustrations have racial overtones as does the dialog, red cloth boards feature b/w illustration sticker on front, front shows fading and a few light white stains, corners scuffed, spine faded with remnant of a sticker near tail, front hinge cracked with stain at top, front pastedown shows number in pencil, creasing at right, note in faint pencil on ffep, spine slightly cocked, Interior is gently age toned with some light staining scattered throughout, pages are free of intentional marks, binding firm, 209 pages, 5 X 7.5 inches.
