Presented April 25, 1850. One of Two Thousand Copies Ordered to be Printed. 544pp, bound in half cloth and marbled paper, with binding and hinges tight. Complete with 2 folding maps [one showing the Course of Cholera in Boston in 1849], 5 engraved plates, and text illustrations. Ex-library, with marks being paper label on spine, small stamp on copyright page, occasional interior stamp, never was a library pocket.
