Includes portfolio of 5 prints, slipcase, dust jacket and book. 1/4 white pebble paper over brown pebble paper. Large folio/coffee table book. With drawings by Riger, and nearly 200 photographic plates in photo-gravure. $10 price on front flap (an expensive book for 1960). Published prior to the league expansion and Super Bowl Era, this book recreates the early glory of the NFL. Condition: FINE/VG+/VG The book is in FINE condition - Just very lightly rubbed spine tips and a faded pencil erasure mark on a front blank paper with publisher s logo. The unclipped dust jacket is in VERY GOOD+ condition - a few rubbed spots on front panel and spine, ledge wear with a few creases and light chips , particularly along the spine. The slipcase is in VERY GOOD condition - beautiful cover art by Riger. Rubbing, sun-toning, spots of soiling, holding strong, 98% of gold foil paper impressively intact, a few scuffs and areas of west along slipcase entry. The OLD PROS Portfolio of all 5 prints is in NEAR FINE condition - left corner of portfolio and prints with a light crease.
