[…] I think The Paris Review should welcome these people into its pages: the good writers and good poets, the non-drumbeaters and non-axe-grinders. So long as they're good." Published by The Paris Review (Sadruddin Aga Khan), in Paris in 1961. First edition. This issue featured work by Jan Gerhard Toonder, Bowden Broadwater, Hughes Rudd, Robert Lowell, Lars Bo, X.J. Kennedy, Lewis Turco, Donald Davie and Daniel Langton. A very good paperback with printed card wraps, with light wear and rubbing. Minor corner bumping. Text clean and bright. Soundly bound.
