Jacket design by Paul Bacon Studio. Text block is white, tight, straight but slightly canted with the following markings: three pages have marginal scribbles in red crayon (see sample photo). Binding is black boards with gilt wraparound gun design, red, white and gilt text to spine, pale yellow top stain and gold-colored endpapers, and with all corners square and sharp, but with residual tape marks and a stain on the rear free endpaper. (This is not a library book.) Original issue, bright white Dust Jacket, front lettered in red, black and gray, with 6 die cut bullet holes is bright, with the original price (($4.50) intact on the front flap, but with front panel partially sunned. a chip out on top of rear panel, one tear to lower rear flap closed from behind with archival (pH neutral) materials. Fleming's Photograph covers the Rear of the Jacket. See photos. 183 pages. 5 3/4" x 8 1/2". This James Bond spy thriller was the 12th and last in the 007 series by Ian Fleming. It takes up where You Only Live Twice ends, and was published eight months after Fleming's death.
