The book is in nice condition with no owner marks or writing on any pages, some small fore-edge foxing but no foxing on any page faces, clean covers, tight binding. The original dust jacket has 15mm x 10mm loss upper front corner, 15mm deep loss upper spine corner, 20mm x 30mm loss upper rear, price-clipped front flap corner. Superb history. Includes discussions of King, Muir, Mt. Whitney, mountaineering, Sierra Club, etc. with considerable amount on early exploration & climbing in Yosemite.
