BOOK DESCRIPTION: 12mo, x, 312 pgs, appendices, 2 maps, Library stamps on title page and 4 other pages. Original brown cloth, gilt titled spine. CONDITION DESCRIPTION: Cover cloth is worn on edges, spine ends chipped with small 1/4" section missing from top of spine. Internal pages are brown and a bit fragile, front hinge weak. CONTENTS DESCRIPTION: The Regiment, organized in 1861, was at the Battle of Front Royal in 1862 and fought throughout the Shenandoah Valley including Battle of Winchester, Battle of Mine Run, Wilderness, Spotsylvania CH, North Anna, Cold Harbor, Petersburg and Appomattox.
