(The colour plates of this scarce 1st Edition were destroyed by Fire - per the preface to the author's New Historical Atlas published in 1887 - Stock No. 127996) Contains Chronology from 5000 B.C to 1885 listing the prominent events in the Ascendency of the World Powers.
