Book condition: very good, very scarce first edition, the record of 540 male immigrants from Germany to New Brunswick, NJ and vicinity during a 50 year period 1838-1888, their contributions they and their descendants have made to the community, includes German states of origin and a list of their professions, red cloth boards feature brilliant gilt on front and show a few tiny white spots to upper right, spine sunned and a bit faded, signature on ffep of a name that appears on page 36, roughly six blue marks, most in margin next to names, two short underlinings, otherwise interior very clean, binding firm, 105 pages, 5.5 X 8.25 inches.
