GIANT: The Pictorial History of the Human Colossus by Polly Jae Lee, Hardcover, First UK Edition (1970). Book in very good condition, in a good unclipped dust jacket. The book has bumping to the spine ends, with ageing and spotting to the page edges. The dust jacket shows general wear and ageing, including internally, with a closed tear to the top of the front panel and minor nicks and losses to the extremities. (See pictures). This is the first comprehensive work on giants, real and imaginary. The author has incorporated fascinating facts on the prehistoric men of Java, up to modern circus performers and basketball players.
