Covers may have been exposed to some dampness at one time but the covers are still secure and clean and there is no damp affect to the interior and no smells of any kind to the book. The lettering is readablr on the spine and the lettering and decorations on the front cover are very bright. The binding is tight and the interior is clean and unmarked.
