1961 First Edition. xvi. 480pp. Black and White photographic frontis, and plates, and numerous diagrams ( including folding) in text. Brown cloth binding. Pictorial Dust Jacket. Condition notes : Much repaired dust jacket , inc 2.5 cm tear at front lower spine and 3cm tear on top edge, and heavy wear to jacket edges. A hot drink seems to have been placed on book on title leaving slight indent on jacket and white ring on the cloth underneath. Previous owners name neatly inscribed at top of FFEP. Minor bumping to front corners and slight spotting to endpapers. Otherwise the text block is very clean and tight. A good serviceable copy. N° de ref. del artículo 1066
