Cumberland Particulars , Plans and Conditions of Sale of the Residential, Agricultural, and Sporting Estate known as Melmerby Hall situate at the foot of the Pennines, 8 miles from Penrith, and 20 miles from Carlisle. Comprising the Residence and Grounds, five excellent stock farms, small holdings and cottages the whole extending to 2,629 acres. also the Manor of Melmerby, including sporting rights on Melmerby Fell for Sale by Auction at St. Andrw's Hall, Penrith on Wednesday, 29th August, 1934 at 2pm prompt. - Original Sale Prospectus of 35 pages with plates of Melmerby Hall and the Grounds and details of the 32 lots for sale to incude Gale Hall farm, Broadmeadows farm, Melmerby Mill, the Crown Temperance Hotel, Blacksmith's shop, Town Head farm , Towhnfoot farm and Melmerby Hall. A large coloured folding map at 6" to the mile accompanies the prospectus measuring 29" x 40" but an area covering Melmerby has been excised, in part compensated by an insert of Melmerby on a larger scale at the top of the map.
