Christmas In The Woods, Frances Frost, Harper Brothers, 1942, US First Edition, First Impression A starkly simple little book with beautiful two-colour illustrations picturing the woodland animals who bless the Child born on Christmas night. In near fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. There is some wear to the bottom corner of the front board. The end papers and pages are free from marks, tears and inscriptions. The dust jacket, protected in a clear, removable cover is in very good condition with loss to the bottom corner of the front cover, wear to the edge of the front cover, loss to the top edge of the spine, rubbing to the spine and rubbing to the edge of the back cover.
