Barrie's Scotland's Lament, [1895], one of 12 copies; Coppard's The higgler, 1930, one of 39 copies; Douglas's Avifauna of Baden, 1894, On the herpetology. of Baden, 1894, both inscribed, Disiecta membra 1915, Experiments, 1925, and other works, many signed; proof engravings by Stephen Gooden; Henry Green's Blindness, 1926, the author's first book, C. Day Lewis's copy; Pinter's The French lieutenant's woman, a screenplay, 1981, one of 10 copies signed by Pinter and John Fowles; Osbert Sitwell's Autobiography, 5 vol., with a series of autograph letters; Wilde's The picture of Dorian Gray, one of 250 copies, signed by the author; Yeats's The king's threshold, New York, 1904, one of 100 copies privately printed; autograph letters of Betjeman, Frances Cornford, Norman Douglas, Sydney Horler, Swinburne and Oscar Wilde; first or limited editions of Aldington, Auden, H.E. Bates, Betjeman, Blunden, De La Mare, Roy Fuller, Galsworthy, Thom Gunn, Ted Hughes, D.H. Lawrence, Wyndham Lewis, Liam O'Flaherty, Sylvia Plath, Evelyn Waugh and Henry Williamson." The first-named item, lot 76, is in fact a Thomas James Wise piracy (rather than a forgery as stated in the catalogue) - a full-page illustration of it is provided in the catalogue.
