1st edition. Written and illustrated by the author when she was only a child. She also wrote and illustrated a book of "memoirs" entitled "Bramshill" when she was 12, and was considered a child prodigy. The daughter of Sir Denzil Cope, she married Sir Duncan Alexander Grant of Dalvey, 13th Bt in 1949. Pp.120, colour frontispiece illustration + further illustrations and chapter capitals in dark pink. Dark pink cloth with silver floral decoration to front and spine. Dustwrapper has author's colour illustration to front, dust soiled, title to spine faded, edge tears with losses to top and tail of spine but is in a removable clear protective wrap. Scarce. VG/G-.
