This is a 1st edition H/Bk copy of The Border Angler: A Guide-Book to The Tweed and its Tributaries and other streams commanded by The North British Railway. With an accurate map of the District by Andrew Bertram and published by William P Nimmo and W Kent in 1858. The book has 195 pages and 2 pages of adverts at the back. The map is present and in fair condition. New end-papers have been inserted back and front. There is a previous owners name on the title page but there are no other marks or inscriptions. The book is bound in dark blue cloth with the titles on the spine in gilt and has the fishing equipment on the front in gold as can be seen in the scan. The contents of the book are in pretty good condition but the boards are bumped at the corners and the spine edges are rubbed. Overseas purchasers will incur extra postal charges.
