Text in German. 42pp. plus 4pg. directory of subject names on a soft warm toned stock, followed by 104 numbered pages containing 112 black and white photographs printed on coated stock. Captions in German, English, French and Italian printed opposite each plate. Original smooth blue cloth, titles stamped in gilt to upper panel and spine (covers with light wear; sunned, spine especially; upper gilt bright, spine gilt dulled and chipped; hinges starting ; first and last pages moderately spotted, random spotting throughout primarily confined to upper margin of plate pages, into a few images but minimally so; else clean and tight, a soundly very good copy).
