1st edition , 1932 ? . Book size - 7.2 x 5 inches , pp. 254, hardback in publisher's red cloth. Book condition - Good plus ; preliminaries with some spots of foxing, the foxing diminishes into the textblock but there are odd spots of foxing throughout, the back page and the back paste-down have some foxing and a light brown stain (c. 2.5 cm), inner hinges intact, note that this copy does not have front and back flyleaves but there are no indications of them having been removed (nor stuck to the paste-downs) and it appears that the book was issued without these, binding firm and square ; publisher's red cloth with title in black on the spine and front board ; corners a little bent but still firm, boards' edges with some rubbing, back clean, back hinge shows some rubbing with a couple of small splits but secure, spine is complete with ends rubbed and a bit split, the top left of the spine has been previously torn and now repaired but it remains visible but not disfiguring, the spine colour is slightly faded but the title remains very visible, front hinge again a bit rubbed but not split, front board has three black smudge marks otherwise clean. This work was first published in 1932 and the red cloth corresponds to this date ; the list of works previously published, on the verso of the half title, all pre-date this present volume and indicate a first edition.
