Neatly inscribed in the corner of the first page are the words "Isabel from Robert 1926". Isabel Reichenthal was the sister of the poet Laura Riding and a poet in her own right. Graves had recently become friends with the Reichenthal family, having admired Riding's poetry for a year or two beforehand; he dedicated books to the girls and their father throughout the rest of the 1920's (Laura Riding - 'L. R. G.' - is this publication's printed dedicatee). Pale blue paper boards printed black. 33 pp. Size: 8 1/2' x 5 1/2" Splits and cracking at the top and bottom of front joint.
