"FIRST EDITION" on its copyright page. Signed, with no personalization or inscription, on its front end paper by its author, who signed as BOTH "Murray Leinster" and his real name, "Will F. Jenkins". (Likely a "subscriber copy", thus.) Both the book and its dust jacket are in spectacular near fine condition. The book is marred only by light bumps on its spine ends. Its binding is tight and square, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and otherwise unworn. Pages are unworn and -- other than the author's signatures -- unmarked. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is whole, bright, and unmarked, with traces of wear at ends of spine and flap folds, but otherwise unworn. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.
