THE WRAPPER : The wrapper on this copy is bright, clean, unfaded and complete. It is unclipped. The spine ends and upper edges are lightly bruised. Looks sharp in protective plastic. THE BOOK : The book is square and tight. The boards are clean and unfaded. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are bruised. The pages are clean and bright. The closed page edges are unmarked. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The deluxe issue, of which only 90 copies were printed (plus a further twenty-five hors commerce), each numbered and signed to the limitation page by both the poet and the Royal Academy artist (this being number '75'). Full cloth lettered in gold at the spine with an Ackroyd coloured inset to the upper board. The title page is printed in black and purple. Twenty-four poems accompanied by twenty-six etchings and watercolours, including ten striking double-spread presentations, many in colour. The original ETCHING, which accompanies this deluxe edition is present and is in Fine condition. It is titled ' Overy Marshes'. This etching has been numbered ('75/90'), dated ('06') and signed by Norman Ackroyd in pencil to the lower margin. The etching has a loose tissue guard and is laid into a wallet-type envelope, the whole housed in the original publisher's board slipcase which is in near Fine condition. A very handsome production.
