"FIRST EDITION" on its copyright page. Per its limitation page this is number 232 of 500 numbered copies. It is signed and inscribed on its limitation page by author Jack Williamson, "To Douglas Calloway with my warm regards -- and wishing you a pleasant space-flight with the Legion." This book is in very good condition, marred only by spine lean, bumps on its corners, and light wear on its spine ends. Its binding is sound. Covers are unmarked, with no apparent fading to the gilt titles on its spine. Pages are unworn and -- other than the author's inscription -- unmarked. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is in good condition: unmarked, fairly bright and mostly whole, marred only by wear, short tears, and some tiny chipping at the ends of the spine and flap folds, plus light wear on edges. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.
