London. Max Reinhardt Ltd. 1965 [1959]. Second printing. Octavo (9 x 6). 230 pp. Black and white plates, text drawings. Introduction by Dermot Wilson. Inscribed and signed by Charles Ritz to Portland, Oregon, fly fisher Wendell Gray, who was a charter member of The Flyfishers' Club of Oregon and also a member of the Deschutes Club. Charles Ritz soars far and wide through the fly fisher's world, passionately describing angling for trout, salmon, and grayling in Europe, Scandinavia and America. Not to be missed is Charles fishing with the mysterious Russian Prince Denissoff on the Platforms of Despair on the Aaro River in Norway. And it seems only Charles could master his "High Speed / High Line" casting style, which requires excellent coordination. The book is bound in yellow cloth with gilt titles on the spine. Pictorial dust jacket showing Charles in his fishing room. A very nice book. Fine in a fine dust jacket. N° de ref. del artículo 010743
