The price clipped dustwrapper has one small closed tear to the head of the spine but is still near fine condition as it been cobered in clear, removable acetate protective film. International postal rates are calculated on a book weighing 1 Kilo, in cases where the book weighs more than 1 Kilo increased postal rates will be quoted, where the book weighs less then postage will be reduced accordingly. Part One of the book deals with seamarks before 1690. Part Two elaborates upon particular periods and episodes. Part Three explains in non-technical terms various aspects of the illumination of early lighthouses. There are over 200 rare illustrations and designs, and 8 maps.
