Hardcover. Condición: Fair - Cash. No Jacket. Dark green hardcovers with gold gilt embossed illustrations to the covers and spines. Heavy surface and edge wear to all volumes. The corners have all been bumped. The boards are exposed in the corners and along the edges. The covers are fraying where the boards are exposed. Tears to the top and bottom of the spines reveal more of the boards. Soiling to the covers and pages. The gold on the spines has mostly faded. Pages all show reader and age wear. All hinges are broken. All volumes have several cracks in their spines throughout each book. A few of the cracks reveal the netting. Vol. 3 at least has a few page tears. Vol. 4 has the previous owner's name inside. A hole's also been punched through the front cover of Vol. 4 near the bottom left corner. Vol. 5 has a tear near the middle of the spine that reveals more of the boarding. The bindings are more on the loose side, but all pages appear to be secure. Stock photos may not look exactly like the book.

Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. No Jacket. Volume III is shaken. Title page nearly detached. One signature is nearly loose. The other five volumes are worn at top and bottom of spines. Pages are tanned but not brittle. Dark green with gold lettering. Not faded. Gold lettering is dulled but certainly legible on all volumes. A matched set certainly together for their lives.

Maroon cloth covers with gilt and black embosed design are frayed at corners and spine caps with general wear but clean, bright, and in good+ condition. Boards and spines are straight. Bindings are tight. Former owner's antiquated bookplate affixed to front paste downs and another owner's name stamped on front end sheets. Frontispieces protected by tissue. One volume is lacking the front matter but the stories/text is complete. Pages are toned with light thumbing but overall in very good condition.

Bindings are probabably a little weak due to age so books should be opened and used gently.
